Hva er: Emily Dickinsons poesi

Bli med på foredrag på Moholt bibliotek!

Poetry is often thought of as a kind of diary or pre-digital blog, and for no one is this truer than Emily Dickinson (1830-86).

Her works are pored over in search for answers to the apparent mystery of her life, while in her poems she often explore the subject of death.

Domhnall Mitchell is a world-leading expert on Dickinson’s poetry. In this talk, he will explore aspects of her poetry, through the poem, "I heard a fly buzz when I died".

Welcome to a short half hour with one of the several undead characters in Emily Dickinson's poetry.
