Welcome to the ImproLAB with Daniel Herskedal on Saturday 14. November 2020 from 1-3pm. ImproLAB is an improvisation laboratory for artists from all disciplines and the community of movement and sound enthusiasts in Trondheim.
In this ImproLAB we invite you on a movement and sound journey inspired by the rich sound of the tuba. By depicting epic landscapes with his music Daniel Herskedal offers an open space for sound and movement improvisation. The variety of soundscapes, from meditative sounds to rich melodies, will be filled with movements and one's own imagination. Here we can go into dialogue with the music and different bodies to discover new ways of moving, listening, and creating.
The ImproLAB is lead in English by dance artist Anna Thu Schmidt in collaboration with tubist Daniel Herskedal. The ImproLAB includes a workshop part with set exercises and an open Jam as a playground for movement and sound exploration.
It is a FREE event supported by DansiT, FFUK, Trondheim kommune and Trøndelag fylkeskommune.
