Overview

Suzanne Z'Graggen was born in Lucerne. She studied organ performance Switzerland and in the class of Prof. Michael Radulescu at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Austria). Z'Graggen was a prizewinner in many competitions, among them the Friedl-Wald-Wettbewerb, the Musik-Studienpreis Migros-Kulturprozent and repeatedly the music prize of Madeleine de Blaireville in Vienna. From 2008-16 Suzanne Z'Graggen has been leading organist at the Cathedral in Solothurn. She has been professor of organ at the University of Music (Lucerne) since 2014, where she is also the chair of the church-music and organ department. Suzanne Z'Graggen, fra Luzern i Sveits, er prisvinner fra flere orgelkonkurranser. Nå leder hun orgel- og kirkemusikkutdanningen ved musikkhøgskolen i Luzern og gir en rekke konserter i inn- og utland. Suzanne Z'Graggen er også en ambassadør for nordisk orgelmusikk i sitt hjemland.
Ved denne konserten fremfører hun blant annet et nordisk mesterverk; Oskar Merikantos Passacaglia, foruten verk av Buxtehude, Reger og sveitsiske komponister.
