Melting Point - Bergen II

Full evening production combining dance on ice, live music and performance art.
Through deconstruction and reconstruction of both movement and sound we explore the phenomenon of melting: both in its literal and figurative sense.
New musical material, composed for this very occasion by Anders Hannevold, will encounter the sounds of F.Schuberts Winterreise.
Along with the choreography and dancers' own research, it will create a unique experience - one that you have never seen before.
It is an intimate performance, where you will come close to everything happening on stage - which in this case is an ice surface.

The number of tickets is limited.

The performance is taking place at an ice rink, so remember to bring your warmest clothes!

Denne intime forestillingen byr på et møte mellom dans på isen, ny kunstmusikk og klassisk musikk.
I en dialog mellom nykomponert musikk av Anders Hannevold og Schuberts Winterreise vil fire kunstløpere fremføre nykoreografert samtidskunstløp.

Gjennom dekonstruering og rekonstruering av bevegelsesmønstre utforsker isdanserene smeltingsfenomenet -både i figurativ og reel betydning.
Musikken er skrevet for piano, harpe, sopran og cello, og tar konseptuell inspirasjon fra smeltende isskulpturer.
