Pasvikdalen strekker seg omlag 100 km sørover i kommunen og ligger som ei kile mellom Russland i øst og Finland i vest.
Det er både en flott naturopplevelse og interessante innblikk i dalens historie. Vi følger Pasvikelva som danner grensen mot Russland helt opp til Svanvik. Besøk på Nasjonalparksenteret med informasjon om fauna og flora. Besøk på informasjonssenter for bjørn (ble åpnet i juni 2012). Underveis guiding om natur, levemåte og historie.
