At Lensmansgarden we have 6 high standard cabins and 7 holiday apartments of different sizes. There are fr0m 2 to 7 sleeping places pr unit.

The farm has common rooms, several barbecue areas and sauna for our guests to use.

Boat rental

We have 11 boats for hire. 9 are 18 f/25hk and 2 are 15 f/10hk. The boats are located in a small boat harbor by the fjord about 600 meters from the farm. At the farm we have fish cleaning facilities and freezer for our guests to use. Boat rental are from 01.05 -15.10.

For boat rentals, you still need to use e-mail or phone. From 2018 we are registered fish farm.

ABOUT LENSMANSGARDEN

Lensmansgarden farm is located in Innfjorden. It is about 10 km west of Åndalsnes, on the road to Ålesund (E136). Travel time from Oslo is approximately 5 hours and 50 minutes (450km). Åndalsnes is the nearest town with shops, restaurants, banks and gas stations. Innfjorden is a small village of about 400 inhabitants. Idyllically situated between the sea and the mountains, it has breathtaking scenery with green hills and waterfalls.

Lensmansgarden is an old farm in Innfjorden. The name stems from the 1700s when the sheriff lived on the farm. Before 2009 Lensmansgarden was managed as both a diary farm and a tourist facility. Since then it has become a dedicated tourist centre. Originally the pig house was fully renovated to make tourism accommodation. And more recently we converted the cow shed into holiday apartments.

Lensmansgarden is a convenient starting point for numerous hikes in Innfjord and around Romsdalen, both in summer and winter. Our goal is a pleasant and peaceful farm where people feel fine and will come back. We are open all year.

In 2019 we bought the neighboring farm, Marteinsgarden. We have now finished renovating the main house, an old Romsdalslån from about 1870. There are 2 apartments that one can rent either individually or together. The apartments have both a kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms each. With seating for 6-8 guests.

FISHING

Innfjorden is part of the Romsdalsfjord. The Romsdalsfjord is one of Norway's cleanest fjords and the fjord is a great place for fishing. There are over 60 species of fish; the most common are pollock, cod, haddock, mackrel and long. It is 600 m to the fjord.

touring

Starting from the farm there are many nice hiking opportunities, Svartebotn, Nøsa, and Gridsetskolten for example.

The old farm cabin, Røsta is located on Bøstølen about 10 km from Lensmansgarden. The old farm cabin can be used by our guests.

From Bøstølen there are about 1-3 hours walking distance to several fishing waters. In winter there are cross country ski trails in the mountains.

Around Innfjorden lays the mountains, Hesten, Finnan and Skjervan. These mountains are popular for those skiers who want a bit challenge on ski. Skiers from all over Europe come to experience snowy mountain peaks, overlooking the blue fjords and marvellous nature.
